In-flight measurement of pressure distribution on a wing (2014)

In this project we have designed and implemented the measurement system for measuring the pressure distribution on a wing of RC controlled airplane. The data was used for a verification of a mathematical model that was used to optimize airfoils at low Reynolds numbers. We have designed the measurement system using our Pressure Strips and some other ad-hoc sensors such as an Angle of Attack probe, a miniature Prandtl probe for airspeed measurement and a system for autonomous data logging.
